Hanukkah in Ft. Lauderdale

We had a wonderful Hanukkah dinner at Bubbe's with latkes, brisket, and lots of gelt and presents.  Jaden loved all of the toys Bubbe got him, but we think his favorite was the Rockin' Elmo that plays a guitar.

Day before Hanukkah

Since we were leaving for Ft. Lauderdale on Hanukkah, Jaden got to open his presents from us and from Grandpa and Grandma early!  Here are some photos.  Grandpa and Grandma watched Jaden open their gifts on skype.  His favorite gift was a sled, which came just in time for the huge snow storm.

Fun in the Snow

It started snowing today at 1pm and hasn't stopped yet.  We're expecting to get over a foot of snow.  As soon as Jaden woke up from his nap, Dave, Aunt Anna, and I took him out to play.  He loved sledding and giggled the entire time.  

Jaden accidentally left sheepy at Grandpa and Grandma's.  Here they are being reunited after a few days apart.

It snowed over the weekend!  This was the first time Jaden (and Harry) saw snow.  One of them liked it and one didn't.

Over Thanksgiving we got to visit with Adam and Terri and their new baby girl, Bronwyn.  Jaden had a lot of fun playing with Finola and her older brothers.

Halloween and Apples

Jaden dressed up as a giraffe for Halloween-his favorite animal.  He calls them "raffs."  He is still calling pumpkins "apples," so we're working on that one.  He got lots of candy tonight to share with Mama and Dada.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we visited a pumpkin patch.  Jaden calls pumpkins "apples."  He picked out two to take home and loved running through a corn maze.

Well, Jaden can now say "I love you!"  He first said it to Dave out of the blue.  We got him to say it on video too!

Long time No type

Well we've finally arrived in CT and only have a few boxes left to unpack.  Jaden is doing well and talking more and more everyday.  See his latest video.

MAJOR NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT

Citing his pro-Israeli stance and core democratic values, Jaden, the youngest "superdelegate," has made his endorsement for Barack Obama public with his "Barack Star" t-shirt.
