Jaden has been acting a little mischievous lately, so we decided to get him a haircut to match his two year-old attitude. The other day, he thought it would be funny to lock me outside while I was taking Halle and Harry out. And the other morning, he woke up at 5:30am asking for chicken nuggets and fries. He’s mostly been making us laugh as we watch him test his boundaries, so we thought this haircut would be totally appropriate!
We travelled down to Ft. Lauderdale for the 4th of July and had lots of fun while we were there. Bubbe took Jaden to Parrot Island were we got to see not only parrots, but piglets. Dave got bit by a parrot that he was trying to feed. We watched fireworks on the 4th and ate lots of good food. Jaden got to play in his new sandbox in Bubbe’s backyard and went swimming in the pool. We took a trip to the beach with Jason and Elisha and watched Jaden go back and forth to the ocean, filling up a watering can and dumping it on his sand castle at least 100 times. We also spent time with Nana and had a wonderful dinner on our last night with Bubbe, Cindy, and Nana. Since we flew out of Westchester, we got to have lunch with our friends Rudy and Geraldine before we made the drive home from the airport.
